Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the TBS International Laboratory Medicine Summit, which we will be organizing in Atatürk University Cultural Center, Erzurum between 28-31 October, 2025.
 
As you know, we traditionally hold our international congresses at the end of the October, coinciding with the Republic Day celebrations. However, we hosted the 49^th FEBS Congress in İstanbul between 5-9 July with over 2,200 participants, we will not be organizing another “congress”. Therefore we decided to announce the event as TBS International Laboratory Medicine Summit, inspired by the famous Palandöken Mountain in beatiful Erzurum.
 
Preparations for the summit are underway and as usual our event will be endorsed by both IFCC and EFLM. The scientific program is almost complete and will feature numerous distinguished speakers from IFCC, EFLM, the Turkic Republics and Türkiye. Our sponsoring IVD companies will have various sattellite symposia in the program and the summit will offer workshops; meticulously prepared to suit the needs of our members and the industry.
 
As in previous years, we will do our best to provide registration and accommodation scholarships to support our young colleagues who will be actively participating in the summit.
 
The abstracts presented at the summit will be published in the Turkish Journal of Biochemistry,  which is indexed in the Science Citation Index-Expanded.
 
We warmly invite you to join us in beautiful Erzurum, at the foot of Palandöken Mountain, to to share your knowledge and experience in this enriching scientific environment. The summit will provide a unique opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with participants from abroad, neighboring countries, particularly the Turkic Republics, and from across Turkey, contributing to the scientific and social vibrancy of the event.
 
This year also marks the 50^th anniversary of the Turkish Biochemical Society, a milestone of great importance for us and for all biochemists. We invite you to come and join for another impactful international event in celebration of our 50^th anniversary.
